Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA)-propionate (PMP) is a low-toxic high-level solvent. Its molecule contains both ether and carbonyl groups. The carbonyl group forms an ester structure and contains alkyl groups. There are both non-polar parts and polar parts in the same molecule. The functional groups of these two parts not only restrict and repel each other, but also play an inherent role. Therefore, there is a certain dissolving force for both non-polar and polar substances. Widely used in high-grade coatings, resins, ink printing, electronic chemicals, etc.
